Le Cap Horn

Opened in 1954, Cap Horn is the oldest high-altitude restaurant in Courchevel 1850. Set in the heart of a former alpine farmhouse, it’s an unexpected tribute to marine explorers from the slopes of Courchevel. Locals and visitors alike flock here for its menu blending land and sea and to dance under its disco balls at après-ski!

Le Chalet de Pierres

On the remains of the Maurienne train station, all in stone and exposed wooden beams, Chalet de Pierres is ideally located at the foot of the Verdons slope, beside Courchevel 1850’s Jardin Alpin. Here, gather around traditional alpine cuisine and watch the skiers glide by, and let your mouth water at the dessert buffet. During peak season, be prepared for a bit of a wait for a table on the terrace.

Winter

During the winter season, from December to April, Courchevel shines with a thousand lights. Come here for snowy landscapes, lively evenings, and an inimitable atmosphere. Winter in Courchevel is also the time for winter sports: downhill skiing, snowboarding, or even ice skating!

Spring

To see another side of Courchevel, visit in March and April. In the spring, the resort is peaceful and embellished with flourishing landscapes. Greenery peeks through the snow-capped summits, trees begin to bloom, and music announcing the return of brighter days sounds through the mountains.

In Autumn and Summer 

Courchevel is often the site of many works and the majority of local shops, bars and restaurants are closed.
