Since 1926, Villa Elisabeth has looked over the shores of Pyla-sur-Mer. This unique architect-designed house was commissioned by Baron Philippe de Rothschild and entrusted to the care of French architect Charles Siclis.

A leading figure in the Art Deco style, Siclis, who also designed the Théâtre Saint-Georges, made a name for himself again, this time on the shores of the Arcachon Bay. In this south-western house, designed in the spirit of the Roaring Twenties, he mixes wood shutters, concrete and geometric lines, a testament to the fact that the era that hasn't aged a day.
