St Tropez is the place to be for tourists seeking the Dolce Vita in this legendary village. LE PATIO
The most refined
Just a step away from the bustling port, Le Patio is home to a gourmet and refined Italian cuisine in an intimate atmosphere. Pick between the Art Deco of the dining room and the shaded terrace, and let the sunny tones of the menu enchant you. Mozzarella, fiori di borraggine or capperi di Pantelleria: the produce is delivered straight from Italy, seasonal and fresh!
You must try
- Tagliatelles “Yaka”, flambéed with Parmigiano Reggiano
- Rack of Lamb with smoked aubergine caviar
- Carpaccio sea bass marinated in lemon with shallot and borage flower
Why you will want to come again
- The elegant cuisine, praised by the Guide Michelin
The golden décor in the Art Deco dining room, recalling productions of the Cinécitta

LA CUCINA BYBLOS
The most authentic
Less than 300 metres from the Place des Lices, you would think yourself at the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The new restaurant of the Byblos Hotel is courtesy of Alain Ducasse, and without a doubt one of the best Italian restaurants in St Tropez. In the kitchen, chef Rocco Seminara’s team prepares pasta dishes and Neapolitan pizzas, always from the produce of the neighbouring vegetable garden. A true Italian venue to visit with friends, family and children (who will no doubt yield to the call of the generous chocolate pizza!)
You must try
- Pansotti stuffed with fresh tomatoes and burrata
- Wheel flambéed pasta with truffles
- Roman Pizza
Why you will want to come again
- The generous portions, that you only really finish you because you can’t get enough of it
- The shaded terrace, reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside or of a Roman Piazzetta

LA FORGE
The most scenic
This place is a little withdrawn. From the port, take the route to Pampelonne beach to get to this Italian restaurant in St Tropez, La Forge. Here you find a familiar and casual atmosphere of a Trattoria, but with a slightly more elaborate cuisine. Begin the meal by sharing a few antipasti while sipping a Spritz – naturally. Then pick from a large selection of typical Italian dishes, rearranged by chef Paolo Amadori.
You must try
- Carbonara tuffoli mancini, the La Forge way
- Risotto Gallo Grand Riserva with lemon, lamb breast and tomato and thyme sauce
- “Gremolada” veal osso bucco and seasonal vegetable Cassolette
Why you will want to come again
- The shaded terrace at the heart of the scenic village of Ramatuelle
- The delicatessen, where you can find the chef’s favourite produce

LA PART DES ANGES
The most intimate
Of all the restaurants in St Tropez, La Part des Anges is without a doubt the most discrete. Nestled at the heart of the village, between the port and the Citadelle, the establishment owes its names to its nice wine list. This is a place for those seeking gourmet and accessible cuisine, inspired by Italian flavours and French traditions. No bells and whistles here, the plates are generously filled and the flavours finely dosed. Special mention to the truffles recipe, which the trufficulturist owner grows himself.
You must try
- The lasagna, prepared in keeping with tradition
- Truffles ravioli
- Babà with limoncello
Why you will want to come again
- The selection of wines
- The excellent value for money
